It's finally time! Quarter Century Stampede is here, and the market is reacting in a big way. Between a flood of great meta-level cards, and 200 nostalgia pool bangers (and Petit Moth) it's not surprising to see the set is a success. Taking after its predecessors in Rarity Collection, Rarity Collection 2 and Quarter Century Bonanza, Quarter Century Stamepede also brings a whopping seven rarities to the main card pool.

One of the best things regarding these sets is just how much more accessible the game becomes for the average player that doesn't have a ton of money to drop on it. Sets like this also help inject a ton of value into a lot of players' binders, as well as giving collectors all-new gems to chase down.

The entire top 10 is from Stampede to nobody's surprise. Let's just dive in, because there's a lot going on here.

The Best-Selling Yu-Gi-Oh Cards This Week

#10 Mulcharmy Fuwalos (Secret Rare)

Nobody should be surprised to see Mulcharmy Fuwalos here - it's the most sought-after reprint by far in the set. A true "staple" of the modern era of Yu-Gi-Oh, Mulcharmy Fuwalos is played in practically every top deck since its release. The Secret Rare is currently $24, and still managed to crack the Top 10, that tells you just how excited people were to get their hands on it.

#9 Destructive Daruma Karma Cannon (UR)

One of the hottest assets as far as Normal Trap cards goes, Destructive Daruma Karma Cannon is a massive reprint. Looking at the current landscape, Destructive Daruma is a perfect example of how to make a powerful Trap card that can easily wreck modern decks without being too strong. At its most basic level, it's just a Trap card Book of Eclipse. However, when you start considering Link Monsters and cards that are unaffected by the opponent, it really starts to shine. Suddenly, it'll send those cards to the graveyard because it's making the opponent perform that action, not a card effect. It's a lot of jargon, but the card is amazing.

#8 Metaltronus (UR)

One of the best cards to come out in the past year, Metaltronus went from being a bulk Super Rare to an $8 competitive mainstay nearly over night thanks to Crossover Breakers and the release of Ryzeal in particular. Suddenly, Metaltronus was everywhere, and it was impossible to find unless you got lucky. Thankfully, one of the best board breaker style spells released in a hot minute is now easily accessible in seven rarities! The Ultra Rare copy in specific is a very cheap, and upgraded version of the original print, and it was being bought in droves.

#7 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring (Alternate Art) (Secret Rare)

Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring is the most played hand trap in the game by far, and when Duel Devastator released in 2019, we finally got an alternate artwork of it. When Quarter Century Rarity Collection dropped a while back, many were asking "will there ever be a Quarter Century set reprint of the other art?" for Ash Blossom. Well, we have our answer!

The Secret Rare copy was number seven this week, which makes a ton of sense. Early in the lifespan of these sets, you'll see the metagame-relevant reprints like Ash Blossom picked up by the fistful, since it's cheap and accessible for players, and savvy buyers are aware it'll eventually go up. Look back at RA01 original art Ash Blossom, the Secret Rare was next to nothing on release, and it's $8 now.

While this artwork isn't as iconic, I wouldn't be surprised to see this naturally go up over time.

#6 Transaction Rollback (UR)

Transaction Rollback has been a card that has desperately needed another reprint for a while now. It's not particularly popular in the current format, but it's an incredibly powerful card overall that will certainly see its use again.

The Ultra Rare copies are less than a quarter right now, and if the card sees play, they might jump up to a buck or two, and while that's not a lot, that's more than it is now!

#5 Crimson Dragon (UR)

Blue-Eyes White Dragon players, rejoice! One half of the most expensive Extra Deck package has been reprinted and is now extremely affordable. The jury is still out on whether or not Crimson Dragon and Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon are the most efficient tech options available for the Blue-Eyes deck, it's certainly a ton of fun.

Prior to Stampede, Crimson Dragon was holding steady at $30. Now, you can get a copy for less than a quarter! That's amazing for budget players who picked up three Blue-Eyes White Destiny Structure Decks and are looking to compete.

#4 Fiendsmith's Desirae (Secret Rare)

The most powerful (tournament legal) Fiendsmith Fusion Monster, Desirae was somehow only a Super Rare in Infinite Forbidden. Thanks to Quarter Century Stampede, all the Fiendsmith enjoyers out there can bling out their Extra Decks with different rarities, but the Secret Rare sold the best by FAR! It's easy to see why, its artwork is popping, and the colors are stunning.

If you're looking for a cheap but nice upgrade, the Secret Rare is a fantastic option.

#3 Mulcharmy Fuwalos (Super Rare)

The Super Rare copy of Mulcharmy Fuwalos sold even better than the Secret Rare copy, really showing that people just want to get the card in their collection. For $17 instead of $24, it's not really surprising to see that players are just grabbing these like hot cakes.

#2 Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis (Secret Rare)

Every control deck and midrange deck loves Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis, and it makes perfect sense why! When the game gets to a simplified state and there are fewer cards that can really break apart set ups, TY-PHON shines.

It was previously a $25 Ultra Rare for a single copy, and heaven forbid you wanted to play multiple, you'd be looking at a heavy cost. Thankfully now it has six different rarities, and just like with Fiendsmith's Desirae, the Secret Rare copy looks incredible. For less than $2 each, you get an upgraded rarity from its original, and you can buy a set for roughly the cost of a single Stampede booster pack!

#1 Mulcharmy Fuwalos (UR)

To the surprise of… literally nobody, Mulcharmy Fuwalos is the best-selling card of the week by FAR. Just so you understand, the Ultra Rare copy sold so well that even if you group Destructive Daruma Karma Cannon and the number 11 entry (another rarity of Cannon) which would propel Daruma Karma Cannon to #2, Fuwalos would still have been number 1 by a huge margin. Clearly people understand the need for this card in the modern format, and it's being shown in its stellar performance in the marketplace.

Looking beyond the top 10, number 12 was Hiita the Fire Charmer, Ablaze (Secret Rare), number 13 was Salamangreat Raging Phoenix (Secret Rare), 14 was Dragon Master Magia (PUR), which says a lot because that thing is expensive, and number 15 was Lyna the Light Charmer, Lustrous (Secret Rare). Quarter Century Stampede is a resounding success, and hopefully we can continue to get these sets just with a different rarity atop the set, perhaps Starlight Rares!
